Chosen One
Chosen one is an art installation project that was done by a group of 7 people, including me, guided by 1 mentor. This is an art light installation containing 3 different coloured LED lights which represent the parting of the red sea, a biblical theology. I helped with the designing process and setting up of the final installation.
"Layers" of Social Media
PARADOXICAL SPACE
Social Media acts as a filter for many and at times contains many unseen layers behind every picture and post. Because of the many layers that social media contains we often do not see things that happen behind these "filters" and "layers".
Using paint as a medium this work was created to amplify the realness of tiger tourism. It shows a Instagram account that supposedly shows its love for "tigers" hiding the greater fact of endangered tigers. Also bringing to attention the 'behind the scenes' of tiger tourism covered up by the layers of social media which is in fact leading to the greater extinction of tigers in the wildlife.
